The latest episode of Fruits Snacks! is ready to be submitted to Worship House media, I just wanted to share the promotional piece that will acompany the new episode... We spent A LOT of time on this episode, and tried out a lot of new methodry in creating this episode, and we really anticipating the kids liking it!

It's Finally Here!

The first Episode of Fruit Snack, Third Day Design's first property, has been completed. We're very excited about this at the studio, because it means a lot. To be able to start this and to complete it has been a huge goal of ours and it's finally happened. Regardless of what happens with this it set a great foundation for us at the studio to continue pushing to create kid friendly, christian based animation, and to push ouselves in our lessons and our art.

We love the creative industry. We love being able to help our clients' brands progress, and we love making people happy. The ultimate goal though, is to be able for us to create, as a studio, our own properties. The idea of being able to creatively steer kids in the right direction with God has always been one of Third Day Design's 'pipe-dream' and in that vein we are ready to announce something very exciting for us!

2010 will mark Third Day Design's emergence into the world of childrens' christian animation. Our first stint will be the first release in an on-going series: Fruit Snacks!
Fruit Snacks! will be 2-3 minute animated shorts based on 1 bible verse each. The goal of the shorts will be to engage children with the verse and the content, encouraging them to look further into the words and really toss around what they mean.

Shamless Self Promotion

So, it's been a little while since I posted. Things are going great!
Recently I was contacted by Ajay Karat ( of Mucha Lucha & Higgly Town Heroes among others) to work along side him on a project he's working on. I'm really excited to get an opportunity to work on anything at this point, but it looks like Ajay has a lot of credible work behind him so this is even better!I will keep everyone posted as thing progress and update work.

after having left the silkscreen industry a few years ago I decided to get back into, using cafe press as my vehicle I will once again begin printing and selling christian themed clothing. Click HERE to check out the store, right now in its infancy. but I hope to dig up some of the old gospel shirt art from a few years ago and re-brand them under the 3rd day design lineage.

While I am still slightly apprehensive to use Café Press ( I am a silk screen advocate all the way) this will give me the means to not only spread the good word, but now I will not have to do it out of the trunk of my car!
